State Tax Authority of Ukraine

Strategic objective of a tax policy is creating in Ukraine stable tax system which would provide sufficient volume of deliveries of payments in budgets of all levels, effective functioning of economy of the state, the fair approach to the taxation of all categories of taxpayers, as well as creating of conditions for the subsequent integration of Ukraine into world commonwealth. In structure of bodies of the state tax service there are special divisions on struggle against tax offences – tax militia.

Creation of Tax Administration of Ukraine in 1996 was continuation of construction of the effective monitoring system for observance of the tax laws.

For 11 months of 2006 bodies of the state tax service collected 27 billion 827 million hryvnia of the tax to the added cost, that in 6 billion 300 million hryvnia (on 29,2 %) exceeds an appropriating last year's parameter.
