Ukrsotsbank

The Joint-Stock Commercial Bank for Social Development Ukrsotsbank at present is one of the largest system banks in Ukraine, its net assets make UAH 26.517 billion as of September 2007. Ukrsotsbank is based in September, 1990, it is included into group of the largest banks of Ukraine. The network of Ukrsotsbank includes 505 operational points, 5 accountable branches and 27 regional branches. The personnel of bank is more than 10 thousand 300 persons. One of leading European banks Italian Banca Intesa in February, 2006 has signed the contract about purchase of 85,42 % of actions of Ukrsotsbank for $1,16 billion — record-breaking high price for bank system of Ukraine. In September, 2006 Banca Intesa has declared that the transaction provides purchase of 88,55 % of actions of Ukrsotsbank with granting to other shareholders an option for sale of actions with the purpose of the control over 100 % of its share capital. Pure actives on November, 1st, 2007 exceed 27,780 billion hryvnia.
